MY STORY

It is NOT easy trying to go from eating and drinking absolutely everything that you have a taste for to having to watch your choices carefully. It is difficult, but, it is necessary. The older I get the more my body confirms that THESE ARE THE FACTS. Those days of being in my teens and 20s and being able to eat and drink anything that I wanted and still have a tight body ARE GONE and the fact that I have let myself go and for far too long means that I'm going to have to work JUST THAT MUCH HARDER to get my body tight again ... AND I WILL!

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! HA, HA, HA!

So, my food intake was pretty good today, but, then they started serving NACHOS AND SLUSHY SNOWBALLS, all different flavors. Man, I got my order and was walking into the gym and ran right into this nice and fit brother with an Apostolic Church of God (ACOG) Biggest Believer fitness t-shirt on. So, I tell him that I felt bad because I knew that I wasn't supposed to be eating those nachos and you know what he had the nerve to say to me? "Put them down." He then had the audacity to take them away from me and give them to one of my little 8 year old. ***GASP*** ...and while I was looking at him with total disbelief, he says to me, "...and you really shouldn't be drinking that slushy. Have you drunk out of the cup?" Ha, ha, ha! I said, "Yes!" ...thinking that this perfect stranger would let me slide with drinking the slushy, but, NO HE DID NOT! He just took it from me and walked to the garbage can and threw it away. UNBELIEVABLE. I went and sat down, not quite sure that what had just transpired and really happened. I looked up and saw him making his way to where I was sitting at on the bleachers. He says to me, "I thought that I needed to be here to pick up my son, but, I see that GOD had me to come here today for you." HE SMILED AND WALKED OUT OF THE GYM!

I PROMISE YOU! THIS REALLY DID HAPPEN AND AS I TYPE THIS OUT FOR POSTING, I AM IN TEARS AT THE THOUGHT OF JUST HOW GOOD MY GOD REALLY IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pulled out my 2 oranges, peeled them and ate them and drank my bottle of water and stuck to my dietary goals today with the help of a perfect stranger!
