Michele Brock is a BIBLE BELIEVING CHRISTIAN, mother of three children, ages 20, 21 and 28, and the grandmother of a 4 year old baby girl! She is an alumni member of Chicago State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts and Science, and of Roosevelt University where she earned a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies. Michele's Personal Health and Fitness goals are to not only lose weight, but, to also tone and sculpt her body. THE 27 DAY CLEANSING WITH RAW FOODS & JUICING VEGETABLES HAS BEGUN!

Weighed in yesterday at 236.8 lbs.

Also took a BLOOD PRESSURE TEST. My average Systolic Pressure was 145 and my average Diastolic Pressure was 98.

STAGE 1 HYPERTENSION

Systolic Pressure
Systolic blood pressure is the amount of pressure that blood exerts on vessels while the heart is beating. In a blood pressure reading (such as 120/80), it is the number on the top. If the top and bottom blood pressures are both too high, a person is said to have high blood pressure. If only the top number is higher than 140, the person has a condition called isolated systolic hypertension.

Diastolic Blood Pressure
Diastolic blood pressure measures the pressure in your blood vessels between heartbeats (when your heart is resting). Represented by the bottom number in a blood pressure reading, diastolic blood pressure is considered low when the blood pressure reading is below 60; a diastolic blood pressure reading higher than 90 is considered high. Lifestyle changes, such as losing weight, can help lower diastolic blood pressure.

I will post all of my other measurements between today and the end of this week.

This cleanse will end at 11:59 PM Monday, September 30, 2013. On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, I will weigh myself and get my measurements, and post the results along with a new photo!

Additionally, I have GREATLY INCREASED my exercise regimen which vary and include both aerobics and weight training and a minimum of a 1 mile walk each day of the week.
